EVENT CANCELLED

I regret to inform you that the UK Secretary for the Environment, David Miliband MP, has had to cancel his visit to Boston on 16 February. This is because of issues surrounding the H5N1 (Avian Flu) outbreak in the UK, with the Secretary of State deciding that it would be inappropriate for him to travel at this time.

I regret this cancellation and any inconvenience caused. Mr Miliband hopes very much to revive his visit at a future date.

In the meantime I look forward to continued collaboration between the United Kingdom and Massachusetts on environmental and energy issues, and to working with you going forward.
