FEMA announces Katrina Reforms

A new House report criticizes the government's response to Hurricane Katrina. Two other reports from the Government Accountability Office and the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General show that the Federal Emergency Management Agency wasted millions of dollars in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

All these reports showing government ineptitude have Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff on the hot seat as he announced a series of reforms in a press conference on Monday.
