The 2008 Cambridge Home & Energy Fair

will take place this

SATURDAY, MAY 17, 10:00 AM TO 2:00 PM
459 Broadway, Cambridge

The fair will feature 27 exhibitors on green building and remodeling, solar energy installation, green power, residential combined heat and power, weatherization, grease car conversion, alternative transportation, community organizations, and City programs. You will also be able to talk to representatives of the Cambridge Energy Alliance and NSTAR. There will be mini-workshops on “tips on maintaining your home”, the Low Carbon Diet, composting indoors and outdoors, residential stormwater management, eco-landscaping, and green renovation and construction.

Also featured this year will be a mini-workshop and table with three Cambridge residents who have or are in the midst of green remodeling, green construction, and energy efficiency projects. So you can get the perspective and advice of homeowners doing real projects to save the planet.
